Cindy Stager is the RSVP Lebanon County Volunteer of the Month; she has been a volunteer with Compeer of Lebanon County since 2015.
Eanie Bard and Jill Burhman are the RSVP Cumberland County co-volunteers of the month. They have been faithful volunteers for the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program in Camp Hill for more than five years.
The RSVP Dauphin County Volunteer of the Month for February is Bernadette Rhodes. She has volunteered at Steelton-Highspire Middle and Senior High schools in the Garden of Youth for six years.
For their service and dedication to York’s older adults, Barbara Clark, Julie Geyer, Bill Tileston, and Suzanne Piccolo are York County Area Agency on Aging’s volunteers of the month.
The RSVP Lancaster Volunteer of the Month for January is Peggy Long. Long has been a driver and client visitor for Meals on Wheels clients for 16 years. She is a caregiver to her sister and previously to her dad.
The RSVP York January Volunteer of the Month is Amy Schlottag. She began volunteering with the GED program when she retired in October 2016 after almost 43 years as a registered nurse at York Hospital, primarily in cardiovascular nursing.
The Volunteer of the Month for RSVP of Cumberland County is Carol Sprecher.
Barbara and John Swarner of Shermans Dale have dedicated all of their time to volunteering since retirement.
Susan Lindsey is the York County RSVP Volunteer of the Month. She volunteers at Leg Up Farm, a nonprofit therapy center in York County for children with special needs.
John J. Heine is the RSVP Lancaster County September Volunteer of the Month. Heine has volunteered with Lancaster Meals on Wheels for 18 months.
The Lebanon County RSVP Volunteer of the Month for September is Yolanda Cruz, who has volunteered extensively through RSVP with the Salvation Army and the American Red Cross.
The National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors has named Lancaster County resident Sally Biel its Volunteer of the Year for her generous contribution of time to the National Watch and Clock Museum and its library and research center.
This month the RSVP York volunteer spotlight is on Deann Conroy.
The August RSVP Volunteer of the Month for Lebanon County is Robert Goonan.
The July RSVP York County Volunteer of the Month is John Bauman.
The York County June volunteer of the month for RSVP of the Capital Region is Phyllis March.
Jay Stanton is RSVP’s Dauphin County Volunteer of the Month. Stanton has volunteered with a multitude of community organizations, including service as a past member of the Hummelstown Borough Council.
The RSVP Cumberland County Volunteers of the Month for May, Jim and Janice Armstrong, have been volunteering for eight years. They enjoy helping to meet the needs of the less fortunate.
Marilyn Hollis is RSVP’s Lebanon County Volunteer of the Month. Hollis is a lifelong resident of Lebanon and recently became a Florida snowbird.
The York County March Volunteer of the Month for RSVP of the Capital Region is Steve Schumacher.
