At a recent board meeting of the Central Pennsylvania Transportation Authority, rabbittransit recognized two veteran employees who have a combined total of 47 years of safe driving without incident.
James Roberson began his public service as a driver of the York Area Transportation Authority in 1982. During his tenure at the authority, he provided 26 years of consecutive safe driving.
Tony Maldonado began his public service as a fixed-route driver of the York Area Transit Authority in 1981, and 2016 marks 35 years of public service to the authority. During his tenure, Maldonado provided 21 years of consecutive safe driving.
The board of directors commended Roberson and Maldonado for their outstanding commitment to the authority and to the safety of the community they serve.
