Farmers Market Vouchers Available in Lebanon County

Lebanon County Area Agency on Aging will again coordinate the distribution of checks for the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program from the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture.

The program provides seniors fresh, nutritious, unprepared fruits and vegetables from farmers markets and expands the awareness and use of farmers markets.

Check distribution will occur between June 1 and Sept. 30 or until all gone. Checks expire Nov. 30.

Seniors must be 60 years of age or older by Dec. 31, 2023. There are income limits based on the entire household, which have increased since last year.

Qualifying seniors will receive five $10 checks to be used at approved vendors for Pennsylvania-grown produce. A list of local vendors will accompany the checks. There is also an FMNP Market Locator app for Android and Apple devices.

This year the Area Agency on Aging will conduct in-person distributions and have mail applications for those unable to attend an in-person event (mailed applications take longer to process).

  • June 7, 11 a.m. to noon – Palmyra Senior Center, 101 S. Railroad St., Palmyra
  • June 7, 1-2 p.m. – Palmview Apartments, 255 W. North Ave., Palmyra
  • June 14, 9-11 a.m. – Lebanon County Christian Ministries, 250 S. Seventh St., Lebanon
  • June 15, noon to 2 p.m. – Shadowstone Village, 12 W. Cedar St., Palmyra
  • June 19, 10 a.m. to noon – Annville Senior Center, 200 S. White Oak St., Annville
  • June 19, 1-2 p.m. – Quittapahilla Commons, 301 W. New St., Annville
  • June 21, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Lebanon Village, 201 Lebanon Village, Lebanon
  • June 28, 10 a.m. to noon – Myerstown Senior Center, 59 N. Ramona Road, Myerstown
  • June 30, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Northern Lebanon Senior Center, 335 N. Lancaster St., Jonestown
