The Dauphin County 50plus EXPO — a one-day event focused on the 50-plus community — is returning to Hershey this month.
The 21st annual Dauphin County 50plus EXPO will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 15, at the Hershey Lodge, 325 University Drive, Hershey. Admission is free.
Brought to you by OLP Events and the Dauphin County Area Agency on Aging, the 50plus EXPO will feature exhibitors providing up-to-date information focused on the health, lifestyle, and needs of the local 50-plus community.
Like many public events, the 50plus EXPO was originally slated to be held this spring but was rescheduled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“With an abundance of caution, we are excited to move forward with the 21st annual Dauphin County 50plus EXPO,” Donna Anderson, president of OLP Events, said.
“While things will look a bit different as we maintain compliance with state guidelines, we’re all looking forward to getting together to share information about products and services that enrich the lives of those of us over 50.”
Due to COVID-19, appropriate safety measures will be in place to ensure the welfare of guests, exhibitors, and staff. Visitors can expect extensive cleaning prior to the event and a limited number of attendees permitted on the floor at one time.
To further increase safety, face masks will be required for both exhibitors and attendees, and hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the event space.
Despite these adjustments, exhibitors are eager to help connect visitors with information and resources “hidden” in their neighborhoods.
As always, attendee admission and parking will be available at no cost.
Sponsors include 50plus LIFE, Bath Fitter, BusinessWoman magazine, Highmark Blue Shield, Homeland Center & Homeland at Home, Madden Physical Therapy, Orthopedic Institute of PA, and WHTM abc27.
