The Dauphin County Chapter of the Pennsylvania Association of School Employees will host a free preretirement workshop from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 1.

The workshop is for any Dauphin County public school employee eligible to receive Pennsylvania School Employee Retirement System benefits and is planning to retire in one to four years, including teachers, librarians, counselors, nurses, administrators, aides, paraprofessionals, office staff, transportation, cafeteria and maintenance workers, and bus drivers.

Speakers will cover an organizational overview of DCPASR; information on health insurance options, including vision and dental coverage; and guidance on exit counseling.

Registration is free and required and is available at dcpasr.org from Feb. 16 to March 14.

The event will be held in person at the Unitarian Church of Harrisburg, 1280 Clover Lane, Harrisburg, and can also be attended via Zoom.
