In response to the national unemployment rate — which reached nearly 15% as of mid-May — a Virtual Job Fair has been scheduled for June 15-30. The two-week event can be accessed at

Hosted by OLP Events, the Virtual Job Fair is open to anyone seeking employment and will bring companies and job seekers together. The event targets employees in transition, those actively seeking employment, and those who might be contemplating a career change.


At, jobseekers can browse through employer thumbnails and select the companies of their choice to learn more information. Applicants can directly ask employers questions about open positions without the hassle of scheduling a time to meet.


Each employer’s custom page will include their company information, website link, job vacancies and social media links. Employers may chat with jobseekers on a 1:1 basis through private messaging or in a group through a Zoom meeting.


Employers will represent a large range of industries, including construction, management, administrative/clerical, warehouse, sales, customer service, manufacturing, banking, computer tech/IT, and others.
