Introducing a very active dog named Turkey! A young and active 1-year-old neutered male shepherd/hound mixed breed, Turkey can be described as tall, lean, and handsome.
Turkey loves to run in the play yard and walks pretty well on his leash. Turkey will thrive best with an active family who can provide daily runs and weekend hikes.
A new family for our Turkey will also need lots of time and patience available to devote to exercise, training, and socialization. Since arriving at the shelter, Turkey is learning what fun it can be to play fetch. He loves to run after a ball!
Turkey has also learned to sit for a treat but can be a bit food grubby. He does have child restrictions (due to toy guarding) and a canine sibling will depend on a meet and greet.
